Fees & Practical Information

Your first conversation

If you are considering counselling, you may have questions about how it works and what taking this step might look like.

I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation call, where we can briefly connect, discuss what you are looking for from counselling and answer any questions you may have.

This is not a counselling session, but a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and consider whether counselling with me feels like the right support for you.

Sessions and fees

£55per 50-minute session

  • Available online and face-to-face
  • Free 15-minute initial consultation
  • Regular weekly session time
  • 24 hours' notice for cancellations

Regular sessions provide a consistent opportunity to pause, reflect and focus on yourself, allowing time for the counselling relationship to develop naturally.

Your sessions

Having a regular appointment can provide continuity and allow us time to continue exploring what feels important to you.

Sessions take place at an agreed regular time. If you need to discuss changes to your appointment, we can talk about this together.

Cancellation policy

I understand that sometimes things happen and appointments may need to be changed.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full session fee.

This policy allows me to keep your appointment time reserved for you and maintain the consistency of the counselling space we create together. Where possible, it also allows me to offer the space to someone else who may be waiting for support.

I understand that exceptional circumstances can happen, and we can discuss these together if they arise.

What happens after I get in touch?

When you contact me, I will send you a booking link to arrange your initial consultation call and discuss what you are looking for from counselling.

This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work and consider whether counselling with me feels like the right support for you.

If we decide to begin working together, we can arrange a regular session time that works for you.

Finding the right support

Finding a counsellor you feel comfortable working with is an important part of beginning counselling.

The counselling relationship is at the heart of the work, so it is okay to take time to consider whether my approach feels supportive for you.

My hope is that from your first contact, you feel welcomed, respected and able to ask any questions you may have.

Face-to-face at The Chakra Room, Ramsbottom — and online across the UK.
