Online Counselling

A supportive space, wherever you are.

Finding time, travelling to appointments or entering a new environment can sometimes feel like another barrier when life already feels overwhelming. Online counselling offers the opportunity to access support from an environment where you feel comfortable and able to focus on yourself.

Whether you are balancing work, family life, caring responsibilities or simply feel more comfortable beginning counselling from home, online sessions can provide a flexible way to access support.

I offer both online and face-to-face counselling, allowing you to consider which option feels most suitable for you.

Can online counselling still feel personal?

You may wonder whether counselling online can feel as connected as meeting in person.

The connection we create through counselling remains an important part of our work, whether we meet online or face-to-face. Through our sessions, we can take time to reflect, explore what feels important and make sense of your experiences.

For some people, accessing counselling online can feel like a more comfortable first step. Being in a familiar environment may help you feel more at ease, while others prefer the structure of attending a face-to-face appointment.

There is no one right way to access counselling. What matters is finding the approach that feels most supportive for you.

A space that feels right for you

The environment you choose for counselling can influence how settled and able to engage you feel during sessions.

If you choose online counselling, having a private space where you feel able to talk openly can help you have time that is just for you.

Some people appreciate being able to attend sessions without travelling, while others value stepping away from everyday life and attending a face-to-face appointment.

Together, we can consider what option feels right for you.

What to expect from online counselling

  • Sessions take place through a secure online video platform.
  • Sessions are 50 minutes long.
  • You can access sessions using a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone.
  • A reliable internet connection will help sessions run smoothly.
  • A private space where you feel able to talk openly is recommended.
  • Headphones can be helpful if you prefer additional privacy.

Before we begin working together, we can discuss any questions you have and make sure the way we work feels right for you.
